Q&A

How far in advance should I order my dress?

We at Butterflyz and Angelz recommend that the minimum period of time to order a dress is six months, this is to ensure the dress is in store and all alterations are carried out before your big day.

 

Do the samples come in other colours?

Depending on the designer, most dresses come in a range of colours including white, antique white, ivory, caffe and blush.

 

Are appointments necessary?

Yes, It is advised to book for a one to one appointment for bridal and bridesmaid attire.

 

How long is each appointment?

We usually book each bride in for an hour long appointment. Although, if you feel you would like longer please do not hesitate to ask and if time permits we will be sure to give you our one to one service for as long as you need.

 

Is there a minimum amount of appointments a bride can make?

We want you to make the right decision and pick the perfect dress. Therefore we do not put a limit on the amount of appointments you make to come back to try on your dream gowns. However refit appointments will last for 30 minutes.

 

Will you store my dress when it arrives in?

We do not store wedding dresses. We encourage all brides to have them at home. All dresses received are steamed ready to go and we require them to be picked up within 14 days of arrival, however, we will try to help as best we can.

 

Do you do the alterations?

We do not have an in house dressmaker but we have a fantastic seamstress that we recommend.

 

Are alteration costs included in the price of the dress?

The quick answer here is No. It would be impossible for us to calculate the cost of adjustments since we don’t carry out the alterations.
